We came back from the Summer Olympic Games in RIO 2016 with 11 medals!!
Polish National Olympic’s Representation has achieved first success since 16 years with winning 2 golds, 3 silvers and 6 bronzes Olympic medals! In the Olympic Games in Rio got involved about 246 Polish participants in 149 competitions and in 16 disciplines. Poland has gained victories in the following disciplines like: athletics, wrestling, modern pentathlon, rowing and canoeing, and also road cycling and mountain. Those pushed up Poland in the medal standings on 29th place. Anita Wlodarczyk set a new world record in the women’s hammer through of over 82.29 meters and winning the gold medal.
